The investigation of certain Kaup-type systems in the context of oceanic shallow water dynamics, such as System (1) -- a Whitham-Broer-Kaup-like model for dispersive long waves -- has provided valuable insights. This study focuses on the variables \(u(x, t)\), representing the horizontal velocity of the water wave, and \(v(x, t)\), denoting the deviation in water height from its equilibrium position. Contributions of this research include:\N\N\begin{enumerate}\N\item[1.] {Transformations}: The authors have developed Scaling Transformation (8) and Hetero-Bäcklund Transformations (16), operating under Oceanic-Shallow-Water Constraints (15). Notably, these transformations reveal two distinct branches of Hetero-Bäcklund Transformations (16), each mapping System (1) to a well-known linear partial differential equation.\N\N\item[2.] {Similarity reductions}: The authors also derived a set of similarity reductions, i.e., Similarity Reductions (30), which reduce System (1) to a known ordinary differential equation (ODE) under Oceanic-Shallow-Water Constraints (29). Additionally, they have presented sample solutions for the resultant ODE.\N\end{enumerate}
