In this interesting article, the authors considered the quantifying dynamics of a class of new predator-prey model proposed by \textit{G. Kaniadakis} [Phys. Rev. E 106, No. 4, Article ID 044401, 7 p. (2022; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevE.106.044401})]. The comparison between the classical model and the new model is given. Moreover, the proposed model might be of interest when the interactions among the species.
