The author extends Michael's finite dimensional selection theorem [\textit{E. Michael}, Ann. Math. (2) 64, 562--580 (1956; Zbl 0073.17702) to the case when the value space is only a Hausdorff uniform space. In the proof he generalizes a construction due to \textit{S. M. Ageev} [J. Math. Sci., New York 144, No. 5, 4367--4379 (2007; Zbl 1157.54008)]. As a corollary he obtains an improved version of the zero-dimensional selection theorem in uniform spaces, given by Gieler and Fahkoury.
