The system of equations for three-dimensional incompressible micropolar fluid is studied in this work. Global well-posedness is obtained in the framework of critical Besov spaces for less regular initial data than previously (e.g. some highly oscillating initial data are admitted). Then, the large time behavior of solutions is established, and subtle damping effects of angular velocity in low frequencies. Regularity is derived using a new Gevrey regularity technique.
