CR embeddings of nilpotent Lie groups (Q6566389)

This paper shows that a connected, simply connected nilpotent Lie group with an integrable left-invariant complex structure on a specific subbundle of the tangent bundle can be CR embedded into complex space of polynomials. The results also apply to suitable quotients of nilpotent Lie groups. These findings generalize the CR embeddings constructed by \textit{I. Naruki} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci., Kyoto Univ. 6, 113--187 (1970; Zbl 0225.32008)], and in particular, the extension to quotients reveals a class of Levi degenerate CR manifolds as quotients of nilpotent Lie groups.
