From the authors' abstract: The authors present the results of a study of the stability of static equilibrium in an electromechanical system using an explicitly obtained function of the potential energy of a magnetic system consisting of a superconducting ring and a magnetic dipole in a uniform gravitational field. The equilibrium conditions are found analytically and the stability region is constructed. It is shown that when the found conditions are met, static magnetic levitation in the form of a suspension takes place around the ring axis. The calculations performed demonstrate the stability of the equilibrium in the form of a suspension based on the magnetic levitation mechanism proposed by \textit{ V. V. Kozoriz} et al. [``On the potential well of the magnetic interaction of ideal current circuits'' (Ukrainian), Dopov. Akad. Nauk Ukr. RSR, Ser. A 1976, No. 3, 248--249 (1976)].
