In this interesting paper, the authors characterize Banach lattices for which every positive semicompact operator is L-weakly compact and M-weakly compact. Finally, they give a necessary and sufficient condition under which the class of positive semi-compact operators coincides with that of L-weakly compact (resp., M-weakly compact) operators.
