In this paper, the authors give some characterizations of multiplicative \(*\)-Jordan-type maps on alternative \(*\)-algebras. Namely, under some nondegeneracy hypotheses, the authors give some sufficient conditions for such maps to be \(*\)-additive and to be a \(*\)-ring isomorphism.
