In this note the authors proposed a bi-periodic version for the Leonardo sequence, establishing the usual identities. The generating function was inaccurate. It was corrected soon after by the reviewer [\textit{C. M. da Fonseca}, Armen. J. Math. 16, Paper No. 7, 8 p. (2024; Zbl 07888973)] using some lesser-known techniques, with some generalizations proposed. The authors also corrected it following a more standardized procedure in [Armen. J. Math. 16, Paper No. 8, 2 p. (2024; Zbl 07888974)].
