Poiseuille flow of Carreau-Yasuda fluid is studied under non-constant pressure gradient. With radial symmetry this leads to a degenerate semilinear parabolic equation in 1D.\N\NExistence of classical solution is proven. For stationary problem, this follows by a direct integration. For the time-dependent problem, regularization and uniform Leray-Schauder estimates are employed.
