Special affine Fourier transform of tempered distributions and pseudo-differential operators (Q6593051)

The authors study the Special Affine Fourier Transform in the Schwartz and tempered distribution space. Further, as an application the generalised heat equation is solved in terms of the special affine Fourier transform. The results obtained are interesting and the proofs are easy to understand. Such an investigation has been done in the past in terms of different integral transforms like for the Fourier transform, Hankel transform, linear canonical transform etc. The paper is interesting but restricted to the interests of researchers working in the area of integral transforms.
