Instanton sheaves on Fano threefolds (Q6593252)

In this paper, a generalization of the classical definition of instanton bundle on the projective space is proposed for Fano threefolds of Picard number one to encompass torsion free sheaves of arbitrary rank. Using this new definition, instanton sheaves of rank one are classified and curves associated to instanton sheaves of rank zero are fully described. Moreover, it is study the behavior of rank 2 instanton sheaves under elementary transformations.\N\NIn the particular case of the quadric threefold \(Q\subset\mathbb{P}^4\),the moduli space of rank 2 instanton sheaves is studied.
