Stable nonlinear model predictive control with a changing economic criterion (Q6600972)

The work is devoted to studying a novel stable economic model predictive control (EMPC) strategy for constrained nonlinear systems with changing economic criteria. The paper has the following structure. First, in the Introduction, the authors analyze in some detail the place of their work among similar ones. Then, in Section 2, they state the problem to be addressed. In the next section, the EMPS strategy for considered systems is designed. In Section 4, the authors provide sufficient conditions under which a system controlled by the new EMPC satisfies the constraints and is asymptotically stable. In the final section, results of a numerical experiment are given.
