In this chapter, the authors discus the fundamental issues of classical optimization and fuzzy optimization. The single-objective and multi-objective optimization problems for classical and fuzzy environments are discussed. The authors also define and studies the fuzzy optimization problem and its difficulties together with the aggregation methods.. Apart from the aggregation process, the triangular norms (t-norms) and triangular norms (t-conorms or s-norm)-based operators are used to solve decision-making problems. These norms are used as operators. Some of these operators are studied in this chapter.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1531.90015].
