The author extends a result due to \textit{F. Berteloot} and \textit{G. Patrizio} [Adv. Math. 153, No. 2, 342--352 (2000; Zbl 0962.32020)] to proper holomorphic mappings between bounded domains, the source domain being quasi-circular and the target is circular. Note that there are two misprints in the paper, namely ``Proposition 1'' is in fact ``Proposition 2.3'' and ``Proposition 2'' is ``Proposition 2.4''.
