The Hardy constant: a review (Q6611644)

In the present nice and short review, the author presents results that have been obtained in the past twenty five years concerning the \(L^p\)-Hardy inequality with distance to the boundary. The paper concentrates on results where the best Hardy constant is either computed exactly or estimated from below. The reviewer comments that a new lower bound for the weighted-Hardy constant for domains satisfying a uniform exterior cone condition in any dimension was recently obtained by him and \textit{U.
