Enochs' conjecture asserts that each covering class of modules over a unital ring is closed under direct limits. In this paper, the authors prove the conjecture for some special classes of modules defined using set-theoretic hypotheses consistent with ZFC. In particular, they show that the conjecture holds for the left-hand class of any cotorsion pair generated by a class of \(\aleph_n\)-presented modules.
