The authors study a two-dimensional heterogeneous predator-prey model with no-flux boundary condition. This is a general model as studied by \textit{E. Bouin} et al. [J. Math. Biol. 82, No. 5, Paper No. 36, 34 p. (2021; Zbl 1465.35376)]. Among others, the stability of the semitrivial solutions and the positive steady states are well investigated. It is an interesting paper and some open problems are presented.
