Contrary to what the title suggests, this article is fundamentally dedicated to tilings of an \(N\)-board, i.e., linear arrays of \(N\) square cells of unit width, with new types of tiles called combs. The authors provide a combinatorial interpretation of the product of two consecutive generalized Fibonacci numbers. Other connections with standard number sequences are discussed as well.
