The author studies approximation of piecewise smooth functions by piecewise Padé-Chebyshev approximations (see [\textit{E.A. Rakhmanov} and \textit{S.P. Suetin}, Trans. Mosc. Math. Soc. 2022, 269--290 (2022; Zbl. 07937529)] for an excellent overview of historical developments). The rate of convergence is studied, numerical results are presented.
