In this paper the author shows that the dual of a \(d\)-dimensional hyperoval is also a \(d\)-dimensional hyperoval if and only if \(d\) is even. Also, the author shows that the dual structure and transpose of the dual structure are not isomorphic to the known bilinear dual hyperovals if \(d\) is even and \(d\) is greater and equal to 6.
