It is of particular interest to obtain an explicit relation between two global/local period integrals, or their products, which are related to a common \(L\)-value. In the paper under the review, the authors establish an explicit period relation between the Ichino triple product period integral and the Waldspurger toric period integral. The explicit relation is provided in both local and global settings, as is obtained using the theta lifting and the see-saw principle.
