Comparing 2-crossed modules with Gray 3-groups (Q6634621)

Using a detailed comparison between the given 2-crossed modules and Gray 3-groups, they showed how to construct linear representations of algebraic models and evaluated their results, describing a linear representation of 2-crossed modules. In doing so, they expressed the close relationship between 2-crossed modules and Gray 3-groupoids in a single object. Using the equivalence between 2-crossed modules and Gray 3-groups and the Gray category structure on the category of chain complexes of vector spaces, they presented linear representations of certain 3-functions.
