    The authors study a class of \((p,q)\)-Laplacian problems with a positive continuous potential and a critical term in the reaction. First a positive ground state solution for the problem is obtained by combining minimax theorems, penalization technique and Ljusternik-Schnirelmann category theory. Next a multiplicity result for a supercritical version of the problem is shown by combining a truncation argument with a Moser-type iteration.
