Axial algebras were first defined in 2015 as a significant generalization of Majorana theory. In paper under review, a further adaptation of the Skjelbred-Sund method was developed to construct central extensions of axial algebras. In particular, it was studied when low-dimensional axial algebras have a non-split central extension.
