Minimizers of the Lawrence-Doniach functional with oblique magnetic fields (Q664331)

This paper deals with the asymptotic analysis of minimizers of the Lawrence-Doniach energy functional with oblique magnetic field. The authors obtain an upper bound on the energy of minimizers by modifying a basic construction for the anisotropic Ginzburg-Landau energy functional. A complementary lower bound is also provided. The last section is devoted to the proof of the equivalent geometrical formulation of the limiting problem for the normalized induced field.
