The purpose of the paper is to present, for one-dimensional lattice-gas models with a specific class of nearest-neighbour interactions \(H\), some rigorous results on the convergence of the Gibbs measure as the absolute temperature \(T\) of the system goes to zero. Firstly, one improves results on the convergence of Gibbs measures for infinite-range interaction energy functions \(H\), and then one clarifies the meaning of the zero-temperature phase diagram for finite-range interaction energy functions. One proposes a new Puiseux-like algorithm to obtain the explicit form of the zero-temperature Gibbs measure on the set of ground-state configurations.
