The paper is concerned with the limit of the iteration of a complex map in a domain. For two types of maps, the authors show that each iteration converges for any point in the domain and that this limit is expressed by the hypergeometric function. These are analogs of the expression of the arithmetic-geometric mean by the Gauss hypergeometric function.
