It is shown that the configuration spaces of an articulated arm of length \(k\) in \(\mathbb R^{m+1}\) gives rise to a natural tower of sphere bundles. Moreover, it is proved that, each tower of projective bundles associated to special multi-flags, one can associate such a tower of sphere bundles which is a two-fold covering of the previous one.
