The aim of this paper is to characterize the commutativity of quotient ring \(R/P\), where \(R\) is any ring and \(P\) is a prime ideal of \(R\) from certain algebraic identities with generalized derivations of \(R\). The conditions under which \(R/P\) is a commutative integral domain are investigated. Some related examples are also given.
