In this addendum the author shows that the elliptic Hall algebra \(\mathcal{E}^+\) from \textit{O. Schiffmann} [J. Algebr. Comb. 35, No. 2, 237--262 (2012; Zbl 1271.17010)] is isomorphic to the algebra generated by certain Fourier coefficients subject to a set of relations similar in spirit to the main results of Schiffmann's paper.
