Let \(NAP\) be the operad of non associative permutative algebras. For any operad \(q\), an operad structure on the composition (in the species acceptation of the term) of \(NAP\) and \(q\) is defined. A similar construction also holds when \(NAP\) is replaced by a shuffle version of the operad of magmatic algebras. It does not hold for the operad of pre-Lie algebras, however.
