Statements
This dataset provides an example workflow with the airborne laser scanning processing pipeline described and tested in Fischer et al. 2024, Methods in Ecology and Evolution (https://doi.org/10.1111/2041-210X.14416). The pipeline is applied to four national ALS surveys of the Netherlands (AHN2AHN5) at two sites (Hulshorst, Veluwe). The source data can be found at https://www.ahn.nl (CC-BY 4.0). NOTE: The pipeline requires a recent distribution of the lidar processing software LAStools (https://rapidlasso.de/product-overview/) as well as a valid license. 01_raw: contains the raw data + a metadata file necessary for processing 02_ancillary: contains ancillary flightline data to obtain scanning dates + the pipeline scripts 03_processed: contains the processed products Further details can be found in the reference publication and in the INFO files provided with each processed dataset.
