This database contains information regarding the use of shells (Mollusca) by hermit crabs (Paguroidea) from the Southern Gulf of Mexico and the Mexican Caribbean Sea. The information was obtained as part of the Biodiversity of the Southern Gulf of Mexico project of the Yucatan Marine Biodiversity Laboratory (UNAM) The material is deposited in the Yucatan Crustacean Collection (CCY). Esta base datos contiene informacin referente al uso de conchas (Mollusca) por parte de cangrejos ermitaos (Paguroidea) del sur del golfo de Mxico y el mar caribe mexicano. La informacin fue obtenida como parte del proyecto Biodiversidad del Sur del Golfo de Mxico del laboratorio Biodiversidad marina de Yucatn (UNAM). El material est depositado en la Coleccin de Crustceos de Yucatn (CCY).
