This paper is concerned with the solution of polynomial matrix equations under the condition that all coefficients can be simultaneously transformed into upper triangular form. An efficient method for solving such polynomial matrix equations is introduced and comparison between this algorithm and other methods known from the literature is made. An error analysis of the method is also presented.
