The main purpose of this paper is to give a simple proof of a result similar to the inverse mapping theorem of \textit{H. Komatsu} [this Proc. 55, 69-72 (1979; Zbl 0467.26004)] under a weaker condition than his, including the infinite-dimensional case treated in \textit{T. Yamanaka} [ibid. 65, No. 7, 199-202 (1989; Zbl 0759.58009)].
