The authors realize two original synthetic approaches to some classes of metrical fixed point theorems. One approach uses a new theory of regular-global-inf functions and the other works in terms of convergence with continuity. Reviewer's remark: These approaches should provide some tools for the basic problems of the metric fixed point theory [\textit{I. A. Rus}, Basic problems of the metric fixed point theory revisited, Stud. Univ. Babeş-Bolyai, Math. 34, No. 2, 61-69 (1989) and 36, No. 1, 81-99 (1991)].
