Algebraic questions defined over the multivariable polynomial ring arise very frequently when solving many scientific problems related to, generally speaking, systems investigations, filter analysis and design. On the other hand, one of the powerful tools for multivariable polynomials are the, so-called, Gröbner bases, developed by Buchberger. The authors use this technique to derive inversions of multivariable polynomial matrices which play a significant role in filter analysis. Interesting programs and examples are provided. However, it should be noticed that the background material contained in the paper is not rich enough, probably due to size limitation, and a reader who is not familiar with the basics of multivariable polynomial algebra and, especially, with Gröbner bases must extend his knowledge first.
