The authors study the thermal interaction between two semi-infinite fluid reservoirs at different temperatures, partially separated by a finite vertical wall. They assume that opposite boundary layer flows form on both sides of the wall. The resulting system is solved by the local non-similarity method combined with numerical schemes. The temperature distribution and the total heat flux through the wall are determined.
