For the description of the space \(K_\omega\) and its relation to Milnor link invariants see [\textit{K. E. Orr}, Invent. Math. 95, No. 2, 379--394 (1989; Zbl 0668.57014)]. There was an unsolved problem if the group \(\pi_3(K_{\omega})\) is non-zero. Main result of the paper: The group \(\pi_3(K_{\omega})\) is infinitely generated.
