The authors continue their study of completeness in symmetric spaces and also present some properties of this completeness. Their study is motivated by the second author's paper [Quaest. Math. 31, No. 3, 203--208 (2008; Zbl 1154.54015)]. Finally they present a fixed point result for multivalued maps in symmetric spaces.
