The bi-compact-open topology on \(C(X)\) (Q681821)

Let \(X\) be a Tychonoff space and \(C_{kh}(X)\) the set of all real-valued continuous functions on \(X\) equipped with the topology given by the join of the compact-open topology and the open-point topology. In the paper under review, the authors study the separation axioms, submetrizability and the first countability of the space \(C_{kh}(X)\). In the last section of the paper, the separability of \(C_{kh}(X)\) is discussed.
