The author gives explicit formulas for the positive PC-fractions and the monic Szegő polynomials corresponding to the Carathéodory function \(F_ \alpha(z)= (1+(1-2\alpha)z)/(1-z)\). This function plays a special role in the theory of the so-called starlike functions of order \(\alpha\). The paper gives a complete characterization of the Szegő polynomials and the distribution function corresponding to the trigonometric moment problem where all moments are real and equal. It also contains a result about the location of the zeroes of these Szegő polynomials.
