In an earlier paper [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. India, Sect. A 60, 327-334 (1990)] the author has shown that if two topological semigroups have isomorphic Bohr compactifications then the semigroups have isomorphic lattices of (semigroup) compactifications. This paper investigates further, looking at homomorphisms between ideals in lattices of compactifications.
