The authors extend the classical notion of offsets to the generalized concept of offset-like convolutions of hypersurfaces. This is based on a study of hypersurfaces sharing the same convolution properties as hyperspheres. For this, a class of such hypersurfaces is identified. Furthermore, an algebraic analysis of these hypersurfaces is presented and their properties for subsequent applications are studied.
