The dual of \(L_{p,\infty}(\mathcal M)\) (Q695135)

Let \({\mathcal M}\) be a semifinite von Neumann algebra without minimal projections. The authors present the dual of the noncommutative Lorentz space \(L_{p,\infty}({\mathcal M})\) for \(1\leq p<\infty\). The results obtained are analogous to those of \textit{M. Cwikel} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 25, 2, 81--126 (1975; Zbl 0301.46025)] and \textit{M. Cwikel} and \textit{Y. Sagher} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 21, 781--786 (1972; Zbl 0244.46035)] in the commutative case.
