The problem of thin sets of integers is the following: we consider only integrable functions on the unit circle of the complex plane whose spectrum is contained in a subset \(\Lambda\) of the integers \(\mathbb{Z}\). This set will be said to be ``thin'' if the Fourier series of these functions behaves better than in the general case. The subsets \(\Lambda\) in this paper are very different from the ones previously known.
