A high gain stabilization method is applied to a second-order nonlinear system. Since one of the controller descriptions uses a fuzzy input/output mapping, fuzzy theory is combined with singular perturbation induced by high gain. Generalizations to higher-order systems are given. An application to a second-order system is provided.
