The authors study the possible states that the orthocomplemented poset of all splitting subspaces of an inner product space \(S\) can admit. They also analyze the possible states of the orthogonally closed subspaces of \(S\). The cases of incomplete, complete, and cocomplete inner spaces are taken into consideration.
