The author studies the Grassmannian of Lagrangian subspaces of a complex symplectic vector space, for which he constructs a Maslov class which generates the second integral cohomology. This class is called the complex Maslov class. The author also calculates the mod 2 reduction of the complex Maslov class in order to make a comparison with the real Maslov class.
